We believe that the first step in becoming a disciple is to be “free indeed.” Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32 NIV).

An Encounter Retreat is a weekend short course in freedom - freedom from habits, bondages, bitterness, wrong thoughts, and past mistakes.  At the Encounter, the Lord will set you free through the power of the cross.  We believe the encounters allow participants to get healed from the past, honest about the present, and hope for the future.  Encounters are a time of true transformation.

Where is the Encounter Retreat held? 
Encounters are held at our church campus.

What is the schedule for the Encounter?
Friday through Sunday

Participants arrive at location by 6:00 p.m. Friday for the opening session and activities. Sessions continue throughout Saturday and until Second Service on Sunday.

What if I’ve already been to an Encounter?
Those that have been to an Encounter always leave with the desire of wanting others to share in the experience. We know that no one person can not invite everyone to an Encounter. That is why we have provided the Prayer of 3 cards. By focusing your prayers around three specific people we hope you see greater success when extending the invitation.
